Job summary

Amazon Data Services Italy S.R.L. in Milan seeks a Health and Safety Manager to own and enhance safety across data center operations. You will lead safety standards, training, and compliance with local regulations while collaborating with security, facilities, and risk teams.

Travel may be required to support regional hubs. The role requires an RSPP certification, 5+ years of field safety experience, and fluency in English and Italian.

Qualifications

• Fluent English and Italian language skills required.
• Minimum 5+ years of field experience in Safety.

Responsibilities

• Implement safety standards, policies and best practices.
• Provision and Management of Training: Induction, Refresher Training as required, develop and deliver training/presentations to support achievement of H&S objectives.
• Collaborate with vendors (General Contractors, sub-contractors, Emergency Services) as they relate to operations and construction.
• Ensure compliance and implementation of global safety programs and local regulatory legislation.
• Develop and review safety plans for on-site emergencies, special events and other unique safety situations.
• Perform safety data analysis and create bench marking.
• Ensure safety record keeping and provide accurate reporting and metrics to support business safety initiatives.
• Consult and work with compliance teams on safety regulations interpretations and investigations.
• Develop and implement solutions to eliminate exposure to risks and prevent injury.
