Amazon Data Services Italy S.R.L. seeks a Construction Project Manager to lead data center construction sites from the MXP offices, overseeing General Contractors and multiple disciplines to deliver compliant, high-quality projects.

You will drive commercial contract administration, support procurement, travel to sites as needed, mentor junior teammates and uphold AWS safety standards with a strong focus on risk mitigation and on-time delivery.

Competenze

• Experience in an operational role or commercial tasks in construction.
• 4+ years in construction site management.
• 2+ years’ responsibility for management of construction contracts and contractors.
• Ability to operate in English.

Mansioni

• Be based from the MXP site construction offices and oversee the project as AWS’s eyes and ears.
• Travel to other data centers or vendor premises as required to support the project; international travel possible.
• Manage General Contractors on data center sites across multiple disciplines, including civil, structural, architectural, electrical and mechanical.
• Oversee commercial administration of contracts and ensure compliance, cost control and timely reporting.
• Lead negotiations with contractors and internal procurement partners; review bids and claims with accuracy.
• Record and report key construction metrics, including schedule, budget and forecast.
