Job summary

Ariston Group is seeking a Cyber Defence Lead to define and execute the Group ICT security strategy, oversee cyber defence operations, and coordinate incident response across global sites. The role combines strategic leadership with hands-on management of security controls and vulnerability management to protect critical ICT environments.

The ideal candidate will have 8+ years in cybersecurity, experience leading teams and vendors, strong knowledge of NIST/ISO 27001, and fluency in English.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in cybersecurity with cyber defence, security operations and incident response.
• Experience leading security teams and providers; OT exposure is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of security controls, IT architectures and platforms.
• Ability to coordinate technical and business stakeholders and drive improvements.
• Hands-on with SIEM, SOAR, EDR/XDR, cloud and network security.
• Familiar with NIST and ISO 27001; professional certifications are a plus.
• Fluent in English, written and spoken.

Responsibilities

• Define and execute the Group ICT Cyber Defence strategy and roadmap.
• Lead the Cyber Defence function and manage internal/external teams.
• Ensure preventive, detective and responsive security controls across the IT environment.
• Oversee cyber defence services, vendors and incident response capabilities.
• Lead major cybersecurity incidents and improve incident response playbooks.
• Establish vulnerability management and threat intelligence processes.
• Define security metrics and reporting to the Group CISO and stakeholders.
• Govern relationships with security vendors and service providers.
