Job summary

Pirelli seeks a Cyber Security Defence Center (CSDC) leader to strengthen cyber resilience across global operations. You will oversee monitoring, incident response, threat intelligence, and NIS2 compliance, coordinating with internal and external stakeholders.

Fluency in Italian and English, on-call availability, and proven leadership in security operations are required. You will drive governance, performance metrics, and continuous improvement of defensive capabilities at scale.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, CS, or related field.
• Extensive experience in Security Operations, Incident Response, Threat Detection, or Cyber Defence.
• Strong knowledge of SOC operations, SIEM, EDR/XDR, threat intelligence, incident response methodologies, and network security.
• Proven experience managing complex cybersecurity incidents and coordinating crisis response.
• Fluency in Italian and English, with on-call availability.

Responsibilities

• Define and execute the CSDC strategy, roadmap, and performance objectives.
• Lead security monitoring, threat detection, incident response, and cyber defence operations.
• Manage cybersecurity incidents end-to-end, ensuring containment, recovery, and post-incident improvements.
• Coordinate major cyber incidents, crisis response activities, and communications with stakeholders.
• Continuously enhance detection capabilities through threat intelligence, threat hunting, vulnerability management, automation, and operational improvements.
• Act as the company’s CSIRT representative under NIS2 requirements coordinating reporting obligations.
• Lead internal teams and external service providers to ensure service quality.
• Establish KPIs, reporting, and governance frameworks to measure CSDC performance, maturity, risks, and emerging threats.
