Edgewell Personal Care in Milan is seeking a Customer Service Specialist to join our team on a part-time, 12-month fixed-term contract. You will handle the end-to-end order process, support customers from order placement to delivery, and collaborate with Sales, Supply Chain and Logistics to ensure a reliable service experience.

The ideal candidate is customer-focused, detail-oriented and able to manage multiple priorities with strong communication skills and proficiency in Excel, Teams and SAP.

Mansioni

  • Manage customer orders from receipt to delivery, ensuring requirements are met.
  • Coordinate product availability, bookings and delivery schedules for on-time delivery.
  • Monitor backorders and communicate changes to customers and Sales.
  • Provide updates on order status, timelines and product availability.
  • Handle customer enquiries, complaints, claims and returns with approvals and credits.
  • Collaborate with Sales, Supply Chain and Logistics to resolve issues quickly.
  • Maintain customer master data and procedure manuals.
  • Monitor performance reports and identify actions to improve OTIF.

Move Forward: The Opportunity

We're looking for a customer-focused and detail-oriented Customer Service Specialist to join our team on a part-time, 12-month fixed-term basis. This role is critical in ensuring our customers receive a reliable, seamless service experience from order placement through to delivery.

As the key link between customers, Sales, Supply Chain and Logistics teams, you'll manage the end-to-end order process, proactively resolve issues and ensure customer requirements are met. You'll have the opportunity to make a tangible impact on customer satisfaction, service performance and operational efficiency while developing your expertise across customer operations and supply chain processes.

What You'll Do
  • Manage customer orders accurately from receipt through to delivery, ensuring customer-specific requirements are met.
  • Coordinate product availability, transportation bookings and delivery schedules to achieve on-time and in-full delivery performance.
  • Monitor and proactively manage backorders, communicating product availability changes and delays to customers and Sales teams.
  • Build trusted relationships with customers by providing timely updates on order status, delivery timelines and product availability.
  • Manage customer enquiries, complaints, claims and returns, coordinating approvals and issuing credit notes where appropriate.
  • Work closely with Sales, Supply Chain, Logistics and other internal stakeholders to resolve service-related issues efficiently.
  • Maintain customer master data, procedure manuals and customer-specific product and material codes.
  • Monitor daily, weekly and monthly performance reports, identifying risks and driving actions to support customer service and OTIF targets.
