Coesia, through its G.D unit in Bologna, is seeking a Financial Controlling professional to join the Group Controlling Department reporting to the FP&A Manager.

You will manage monthly closings, budgeting and forecasting, and deliver management reporting including P&L, Opex by cost center, Capex, balance sheet and cash flow analyses.

The role requires a degree in Economics or related field, at least two years in Controlling, IFRS knowledge, and strong SAP and Excel expertise.

Formación

• At least 2 years of experience in Controlling, with solid expertise in management reporting.
• Strong IFRS knowledge and monthly closing experience.
• Good command of spoken and written English.
• Proficient in SAP and advanced Microsoft Excel.
• Experience with reporting and/or BI tools such as IBM Cognos or Tagetik is a plus.

Responsabilidades

About the Role

The successful candidate, reporting directly to the FP&A Manager within the Group Controlling Department, will be responsible for the following Group-level activities:

• Understanding the main items of the balance sheet and income statement;
• Performing accounting reviews and economic/financial analyses;
• Managing monthly closings and overseeing the monthly actuals, budgeting, and forecasting processes;
• Preparing monthly reports and variance analyses, including:
  • Order Intake, Revenue, and Backlog
  • Profit & Loss (P&L)
  • Operating Expenses (Opex) by Cost Center and Nature
  • Capital Expenditures (Capex)
  • Personnel Costs
  • Balance Sheet (BS) & Cash Flow
• Preparing management reports for Top Management;
• Managing and developing the reporting software platform.

What You Need to Be Successful

• Degree in Economics, Business Administration, or Management Engineering;
• At least 2 years of experience in Controlling, with solid expertise in Business Analysis, management reporting, management and industrial accounting, as well as a strong foundation in general accounting;
• Understanding of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS), accounting procedures, monthly closing processes, and experience with management consolidation activities;
• Good command of spoken and written English;
• Proficiency in SAP and advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel.

Experience with reporting and/or business intelligence tools for data analysis, such as IBM Cognos and Tagetik, will be considered a plus.

The profile is completed by excellent organizational skills, a proactive attitude, strong problem-solving capabilities, flexibility, and outstanding interpersonal and communication skills.

Our Offer

• Compensation for this role includes a base salary starting from EUR 36.000, in line with experience. The actual offer may exceed this minimum based on the candidate's qualifications and fit for the role.
• A range of additional benefits (e.g., insurances, etc.) is also available in accordance with Company policy.
• The applicable collective agreement is the CCNL Metalmeccanico.
