Job summary

GDM SpA, a Coesia company, is seeking a Project Manager in Offanengo, Italy to lead customer projects from order intake to final on-site acceptance. You will collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, procurement and installation teams, controlling costs, schedules and risk while communicating with customers and internal stakeholders.

The role includes international travel up to 30% and offers a base salary starting at EUR 40,800, plus an annual bonus of up to 10% of base salary, with benefits

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Project Management, Industrial Management or related technical field.
• Around 5 years of project management experience in industrial machinery, automation, manufacturing, or engineering.
• Experience in managing project costs, risks, schedules and customer relationships.
• Strong knowledge of project management methodologies and tools.
• Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and coordinate cross-functional teams.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and organizational abilities.
• Customer-oriented mindset with strong negotiation skills.
• Professional proficiency in English; additional languages are a plus.
• Willingness to travel internationally up to approximately 30%.

Responsibilities

• Manage assigned projects throughout the entire project lifecycle, from project kick-off to final customer acceptance.
• Monitor and control project costs, ensuring alignment with approved budgets and contractual commitments.
• Develop and maintain project schedules, tracking milestones and ensuring timely execution.
• Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks, implementing appropriate corrective actions when required.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams involved in engineering, manufacturing, procurement, installation, and commissioning activities.
• Act as the primary point of contact for customers regarding project-related matters.
• Ensure compliance with contractual requirements and agreed project deliverables.
• Monitor project performance and provide regular progress updates to internal stakeholders and customers.
• Manage scope changes, evaluating their impact on costs, timing, and resources.
• Support installation, start-up, and commissioning activities at customer sites.
• Lead project review meetings and drive issue resolution throughout the project execution phase.
• Ensure proper project closure, including documentation completion and formal customer acceptance.

About the Role:

We are looking for a Project Manager to join GDM.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing customer projects from order intake through final on-site acceptance, ensuring that project objectives related to cost, schedule, quality, and risk management are achieved. The role requires close collaboration with internal departments and customers throughout the entire project lifecycle. The position includes international travel of approximately 30% of working time.

What You Need to Be Successful:

Our Offer:

Compensation for this role includes a base salary starting from EUR 40,800, in line with experience. The actual offer may exceed this minimum based on the candidate's qualifications and fit for the role.

The compensation package also includes a variable component in the form of an annual bonus, which can reach 10% of base salary at target.
