TMC Italia is seeking a Control Engineer to design and implement control algorithms for electric and hybrid vehicles, leveraging Model-Based Design with MATLAB/Simulink. You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimize vehicle performance and reliability.

The role offers a permanent contract with a base gross annual salary in line with CCNL Commerce, plus a project profit-sharing component and a dedicated learning budget of €4,000 net per year.

Competenze

• Master’s or PhD in Electronics, Mechatronics, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
• At least 1 year of experience as a Control Engineer or similar.
• Experience with model-based design tools (MATLAB/Simulink).
• Understanding of EV architectures and basic control strategies.
• Familiarity with automotive communication protocols (CAN, LIN, Ethernet).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to collaborate within multidisciplinary teams.
• Good organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks.
• Interest in sustainable mobility and automotive innovation.

About this vacancy

What we expect from you

• Master’s or PhD in Electronics, Mechatronics, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field

What you can expect from us

The position offers a permanent employment contract, and the base Gross Annual Salary – RAL will be no less than €30.000, in line with the National Collective Bargaining Agreement (CCNL) for Commerce – Tertiary, Distribution and Services. TMC is committed to offering a competitive compensation package. At the end of the recruitment process, after assessing the candidate's experience, skills, and qualifications, the company may offer a final gross annual salary higher than the amount stated above.
