Magaldi Group in Salerno, Italy, is seeking a Contract & Risk Manager to support complex international EPC projects. You will help mitigate risks, ensure contract compliance, and manage claims throughout the project lifecycle, with growing autonomy in negotiation and dispute resolution.

After a development period, you will contribute to back-to-back contractual arrangements with suppliers, coordinate with procurement, and support project managers on execution and critical path considerations.

Competenze

• Min 5 years in contract administration or project management within EPC/industrial project-driven companies
• Experience in international environments, preferably outside EU
• Knowledge of international contract standards (FIDIC, Orgalime, UNCITRAL, UNIDROIT)
• Fluency in English (written and spoken)

Mansioni

• Review and administer contractual documentation (EPC / Turnkey / Supply & Services)
• Identify and mitigate contractual risks
• Support Commercial during tender and negotiation phases
• Support Project Managers in contract management during execution
• Contribute to claim preparation and management (delay claims, EOT, variation orders)

to strengthen the Contract & Risk Management function.

Role Overview

The selected candidate will support the Contract & Risk Manager in the management of contractual and commercial aspects of complex international projects, contributing to risk mitigation, contract compliance and claim management throughout the project lifecycle.

After an initial development period, the candidate will progressively gain autonomy in negotiation activities and claim handling.

Key Responsibilities

• Review and administration of contractual documentation (EPC / Turnkey / Supply & Services)
• Identification and mitigation of contractual risks
• Support to Commercial Department during tender and negotiation phases
• Support to Project Managers in contract management during project execution
• Contribution to claim preparation and management (delay claims, EOT, variation orders)
• Coordination with Procurement to ensure contractual back-to-back with suppliers
• Support in monitoring of project progress, with focus on critical path and contractual impacts
• Support in management of contractual correspondence with clients and subcontractors
• Interface with external legal advisors when required

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of experience in contract administration or project management within EPC / industrial project-driven companies
• Experience in international environments, preferably outside EU
• Knowledge of international contract standards (FIDIC, Orgalime, UNCITRAL, UNIDROIT)
• Exposure to claim management practices
• Understanding of project planning principles (critical path, delays, EOT)
• Site experience (erection/commissioning) is a strong plus
• Fluency in English (written and spoken)
• Degree in Engineering, Law or Economics

The position being sought is subject to CCNL Metalmeccanica Aziende Industriali, with a gross annual salary range of between €30,000 and €40,000, based on the candidate's skills and experience.

Availability for occasional travel (approximately one-two trips every two months)

Predominantly on-site presence required, especially during the initial development period
