Blackedge Consulting is seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager to oversee complex buildings and real estate projects in Milan, Italy. You will own projects from planning and pre-construction through delivery, commissioning and final handover.

You will coordinate design, construction and consultant teams, manage programmes, costs and risk, and maintain strong client and stakeholder relationships in a fast-paced international environment.

We're supporting a leading multidisciplinary design and project consultancy in Milan with the appointment of an experienced Construction Project Manager to support the delivery of complex building and real estate projects.

This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially aware and technically capable Project Manager who is comfortable taking ownership of projects from planning and pre-construction through delivery, commissioning and final handover.

The Role

• Managing construction projects from pre-construction through to completion and handover
• Coordinating multidisciplinary design, construction and consultant teams
• Managing project programmes, key milestones and delivery schedules
• Monitoring project cost, quality, risk and overall performance
• Supporting procurement, tendering and contractor appointment processes
• Managing client, contractor and stakeholder relationships
• Reviewing project progress and identifying potential risks or delays
• Coordinating site activities and ensuring delivery aligns with design intent and contractual requirements
• Managing variations, changes and project reporting
• Supporting commissioning, snagging, practical completion and final handover
• Ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently and to the required technical and quality standards

About You

We're interested in speaking with experienced Project Managers who can demonstrate:

• Strong experience within construction, project management or consultancy environments
• Experience managing complex commercial, workplace, hospitality, residential or mixed-use projects
• Strong understanding of the construction lifecycle from design through delivery
• Experience coordinating consultants, contractors and multidisciplinary project teams
• Good knowledge of programme, cost, risk and change management
• Strong client-facing and stakeholder-management skills
• Ability to operate confidently in a fast-paced international project environment
• Degree qualification in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture or a related discipline would be advantageous
• Professional accreditation such as PMP, RICS, CIOB or equivalent would be beneficial
