Job summary

Tecnimont invites applications for a Construction and AWP Engineer to join the Construction Engineering Management function in Italy. The role offers exposure to both Construction Engineering and Advanced Work Packaging within an international EPC setting.

The initial assignment will be defined by background and interests, with opportunities to develop a multidisciplinary skillset and contribute to project execution, planning and field operations.

Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Civil/Structural Engineering.
• 3–5 years of experience in Project Engineering, Construction Engineering or Planning Engineering roles on international projects.
• Proficiency in English, both written and spoken.
• Strong analytical and organizational skills; ability to work in multidisciplinary, international teams.
• Proficient with MS Office; willingness for temporary assignments abroad.

Responsibilities

• Support planning, coordination and monitoring of construction activities across the project lifecycle.
• Contribute to development and review of construction execution strategies and work sequences.
• Interface with Engineering, Procurement and Site teams to address construction requirements.
• Monitor progress, identify constraints and support corrective actions; collaborate to improve execution efficiency.
• Support analysis of construction performance indicators and project execution data.
• Support the implementation and continuous improvement of Advanced Work Packaging (AWP).
• Develop and monitor EWPs, CWPs and IWPs; ensure work package readiness.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Procurement, Project Control and Construction teams to resolve bottlenecks.
• Promote construction-driven planning to improve project predictability and productivity.
