Mandarin Oriental, Milan is seeking a Concierge intern to assist guests within the Concierge Department in Milan. You will support guests, maintain city information, and help with tickets, reservations, and transfers.

Must communicate effectively in English and Italian; show a passion for guest relations and luxury hospitality, with professional and confidential conduct. Shifts are flexible to operational needs.

About the job

Based at the Mandarin Oriental, Milan within the Concierge Department in Milan, the Concierge intern is responsible for assisting and supporting guests. The Concierge intern reports to the Head Concierge.

As Concierge intern, you willresponsiblefor the following duties:

• Providing exceptional service to our guests
• Offer a warm, sincere and personalized welcome to all guests
• Maintain a constantly updated database with extensive information about city highlights
• Maintain a consistent and sufficient level of brochures, maps and handouts
• Maintain a daily sheet (via software) of all guest requests, reservations and confirmations for guests
• Be knowledgeable of all in-house and arriving guests
• Be aware of all daily events in the hotel
• Arrange tickets for theatre, sporting events and local attractions
• Provide a daily list to the Front Office Manager or Manager On Duty of transportation reservations
• Maintain a clean, neat and organized desk
• Act as a guide when guests ask for direction and physically assist them to their destination within the hotel
• Other activities as deemed appropriate by the Chief Concierge
