MERMEC is seeking a Software Engineer with a focus on image and 3D data processing to design and implement algorithms for classification, detection and segmentation. The role requires collaboration with internal and external customers to specify interfaces and requirements.

You will work with deep learning methods, including TensorFlow/PyTorch and OpenCV/Halcon, and contribute to testing and quality assurance while maintaining Italian (B2) and English proficiency.

Competenze

• Degree in Engineering/Computer Science or similar.
• 3 years of experience in similar roles.
• Experience in multithreading.
• Experience in image and/or 3D data processing.
• Knowledge of computer vision algorithms.
• Experience with deep learning for classification/detection/segmentation is a strong plus.
• Knowledge of TensorFlow/Keras or PyTorch is a strong plus.
• Knowledge of OpenCV or Halcon is a strong plus.
• Good Italian (B2) and English proficiency.
