Job summary

Baker Hughes is seeking a Commodity Manager / Buyer to define and improve sourcing strategies at business or plant level, coordinating regional teams and driving procurement excellence.

You will work within the Industry & Energy Technology team to optimize supply chains, contribute to projects, and engage with colleagues to deliver value in a dynamic energy technology environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s/Master degree from an accredited university or college in Engineering or Economic with experience in procurement or commodity management
• Show a good experience in Procurement, Operations, Supply Chain
• English and Italian fluent, both in writing and speaking
• Excellent communication and influencing skills
• Analytical mindset with a proven ability to resolve problems and identify solutions
• Positive attitude to embrace change and see challenge as opportunity
• Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
• Demonstrated ability to cope with multiple complex situations daily
• Negotiation expertise
• Ability to document, plan, market, and execute programs
• Availability to travel
