Mandarin Oriental Milan is seeking a Commis de Rang to delight guests within the Seta Department. You will liaise with the kitchen and dining room, transport dishes, and ensure perfect setup and cleanliness before service, delivering warm and professional hospitality.

The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, with excellent communication skills in Italian and English, and a passion for exceptional guest experiences in a luxury setting.

About The Job

Based at the Mandarin Oriental, Milan within the Seta Department in Milan, the Commis de Rang is responsible to delight and satisfy our guests. We are dedicated to making a difference every day and continually improve to ensure we are the best. The Commis de Rang reports to the Restaurant Manager.

As Commis de Rang, you will responsible for the following duties:

Is responsible for transporting dishes from the kitchen to the tables ensuring speed and accuracy of service.
Must also ensure constant communication with the kitchen and colleagues in the dining room to ensure smooth and seamless service.
He or she must also ensure that everything is in order before service begins, from the cutlery on the table to the cleanliness of the Mandarin Garden areas.
An outgoing and passionate resource is required, enthusiastic about interfacing with the guest and willing to offer impeccable and sincere service with a smile and the right spirit of hospitality.
