Soho House & Co. is seeking a hard-working Commis Chef to assist with meal ingredient preparation and kitchen duties under the Chef de Partie. You will inform supervision about malfunctioning equipment, organize deliveries, and keep storage areas clean to prevent spoilage.

The ideal candidate demonstrates strong organizational skills and follows all instructions while complying with health and safety regulations. You will support food prep, deliveries, stock checks, and presentation as directed.

Competenze

• Excellent organizational skills and ability to follow instructions and comply with health and safety regulations.
• Able to measure ingredients accurately and prepare components as directed by Chef de Partie.
• Experience with receiving deliveries and stock management.

Mansioni

• Accurately measuring meal ingredients for the Chef de Partie.
• Preparing meal ingredients, including seasoning meats and washing, peeling, and chopping vegetables and fruits.
• Preparing basic salads and sauces as directed by the Chef de Partie.
• Receiving deliveries and verifying that items are delivered and of good quality.
• Taking inventory of restaurant supplies and notifying supervisor of low stocks.
• Discarding expired and spoiled items from stock rooms, refrigerators, and freezers.
• Performing basic cleaning duties and sanitizing workstations.
• Plating and presenting meal items as instructed by the Chef de Partie.
