e-GEOS, under Leonardo's Space Division, invites applications for a Geospatial Platform Engineer to design, develop and operate scalable geospatial services across cloud and hybrid environments. Based in Rome with a hybrid work mode, you will join a multidisciplinary team and progressively own platform components and integration tasks.

You will contribute to API-first services, geospatial catalogues, and data processing components, applying standards like STAC/OGC APIs.

Competenze

• Master’s degree or equivalent in a related field.
• Up to 5 years of software/platform engineering experience in geospatial apps.
• Strong Python development skills and API experience.
• Experience with cloud-native geospatial platforms and CI/CD.

Mansioni

• Develop reusable platform services, APIs and integration components.
• Work on geospatial catalogues, data access and processing workflows.
• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and automated testing.
• Collaborate with architects, scientists and suppliers on integration milestones.
