e-GEOS, a Leonardo subsidiary in Rome, seeks a Geospatial Platform Engineer (AI focus) to design, implement and operate cloud-native EO platforms that enable scalable AI and EO solutions. You will join a cross-disciplinary team and progressively own platform architecture decisions.

The role is hybrid, based in Rome, with a 12-month fixed-term contract, thirteenth month, and opportunities for training and professional growth in AI, RAG, GFMs, and geospatial data workflows.

Competenze

• Master's degree required in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Geoinformatics, or related field.
• Up to 5 years of professional experience in software engineering, cloud platforms or geospatial apps.
• Strong Python development skills and knowledge of REST APIs.
• Experience with AWS or Azure and Kubernetes-based deployments.
• Good Italian and English language skills.

Mansioni

• Design, implement, and operate AI-enabled geospatial platform services.
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines and testing frameworks.
• Build APIs, microservices, and data/knowledge pipelines.
• Collaborate with AI engineers and external partners.
• Ensure security, reliability, and performance in cloud environments.
