Red Hat S.R.L. is seeking an experienced IT professional to develop and modernize Java applications using microservices, APIs, containers, and Kubernetes/OpenShift. The role focuses on cloud-native modernization and building Generative AI solutions for real business use cases.

You will work with senior consultants and customer tech teams, applying CI/CD, GitOps, and DevSecOps to ensure secure, reliable delivery. On-site availability in Italy and across EMEA is expected.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional IT experience with hands-on software development.
• Strong Java development skills with modern frameworks.
• Proven experience building cloud-native and containerized apps.
• Experience with Kubernetes/OpenShift or similar orchestrators.
• Hands-on work with Generative and Predictive AI solutions in business contexts.

Responsabilités

• Develop and modernize Java applications using microservices, APIs, containers, and Kubernetes/OpenShift.
• Support applications modernization toward cloud-native architectures.
• Develop Generative AI applications using LLMs, vector databases, AI agents, and tooling.
• Implement CI/CD and GitOps to automate delivery and deployments.
• Help customers secure their software supply chain by identifying vulnerable OSS and applying remediations.
• Apply observability, secure development, and DevSecOps practices across the lifecycle.
• Integrate on-prem models and cloud AI services into enterprise apps.
• Collaborate with Senior Consultants, Architects, and customer tech teams.
