Job summary

SDG Group Italy is seeking AI Engineers with 1 to 3 years of experience in AI and ML to join our AI & ML Engineering team. From day one, you’ll work in an international delivery unit on high-impact projects across fashion, utilities, banking, insurance and healthcare, with exposure to Generative AI.

You’ll contribute to end-to-end AI development, model industrialization, cloud deployment (AWS, GCP, and Azure), and collaboration with Data Engineers to deploy production-ready solutions in a

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in a STEM field (Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, Data Science, or related).
• 1–3 years of experience in AI/ML/Data Science are a strong fit.
• Proficiency in Python and its ecosystem (NumPy, Pandas, scikit-learn).
• Familiarity with Git, virtual environments, and SQL/NoSQL databases.
• Understanding of core ML concepts or Generative AI with OpenAI API, LangChain, vectors.

Responsibilities

• Full-Lifecycle AI Development: manage the entire journey of an AI solution from problem-solving to production-ready systems.
• Cutting-Edge Modeling: implement algorithms from traditional models to Generative AI with LLMs and Transformers.
• Industrialization & AIOps: deploy models to cloud with scalable, reliable architectures.
• Cloud Mastery: work across AWS, GCP, Azure and platforms like Databricks, SageMaker, Vertex AI.
• Strategic Insight & Communication: translate data into actionable business insights for clients.
• Collaborative Deployment: work with Data Engineers to deploy models into live systems.
