Job summary

Trane Italia is seeking an experienced HVAC Project Manager to lead on-site projects in Italy. You will manage design drawings, contracts, procurement, and construction activities while ensuring safety, quality, schedule, and cost targets.

The role requires strong communication skills and the ability to coordinate with owners, general contractors, inspectors, and subcontractors to deliver projects successfully. A relevant engineering background and on-site commissioning experience are essential.

Qualifications

• Familiar with design drawings, contracts, bidding procurement, construction coordination, and cost management.
• Strong communication and coordination skills to manage stakeholders.
• Ability to identify and control risks including safety, quality, schedule, and cost risks.
• Proficiency in MEP drawings, quantity takeoffs, CAD drawings, and overall MEP project management experience.
• On-site system commissioning and ability to resolve quality issues.

Responsibilities

• Organize project construction according to design drawings and contractual requirements.
• Set project management goals and obtain leadership approval for safety, quality, schedule, and cost targets.
• Manage safety, quality, schedule, and cost to ensure targets are met.
• Organize on-site installation construction.
• Coordinate with owners, general contractors, supervisors, subcontractors, and regulators to ensure smooth project progress.
• Coordinate all project phases including technical/business handover, pre-construction prep, materials/subcontract procurement, construction management, commissioning, trial run, final handover and final settlement.
