Inspired Education Group is seeking a dynamic Chemistry and General Science Teacher to join the International School of Modena, Italy, starting in August 2027. The role covers IBDP (SL/HL) and IBMYP Chemistry within a vibrant Science department and offers a path to leadership for the right candidate.

The ideal applicant will have IB teaching experience, a strong passion for science, and a commitment to long-term employment in Italy.

Competenze

• University degree in a related scientific subject and an appropriate teaching qualification.
• Recent experience teaching the subject within the 11-19 age range.
• Enthusiastic and passionate attitude, showing a love of science and ability to convey this to students of all abilities.
• Understanding of CAT4 and/or data tracking to improve challenge and progress.
• Experience with external and internal IB assessment and Extended Essay is desirable.
• Willingness to commit to a longer-term position in Italy.
• Qualified Teacher Status is required.

ROLE SUMMARY:

Inspired Group is seeking to appoint a dynamic teacher of IBDP (SL/HL) and MYP Chemistry to join a well-established Science department at the International School of Modena, Italy starting in August 2027.

Applicants would preferably have experience of teaching both IB MYP and DP, although comprehensive training will be provided.

The successful applicant will be an educator with experience of enabling students to achieve their potential. We are looking for a knowledgeable, enthusiastic, and caring internationally minded teacher to inspire our students with a love of learning. They need to be a team player that can work within a busy Secondary school and manage their own curriculum within a hardworking, supportive section,

• Recent experience successfully teaching the subject within the 11-19 age range
• Enthusiastic and passionate attitude, showing a love of science and having the ability to convey this successfully to students of all abilities
• Understanding of CAT4 and/or data tracking to improve challenge and progress of young people
• Experience with external and internal IB assessment and Extended Essay is desirable
• A firm understanding of the importance of personalised learning in an inclusive environment
• Willingness to commit to a longer-term position in Italy.
