We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Head of Mathematics with a strong background in the IB DP curriculum. Key Responsibilities

• Teach high school Mathematics courses as part of the IB Diploma Programme (IB DP), including Higher Level (HL) and Standard Level (SL), ensuring the delivery of engaging, challenging, and well‑structured lessons;
• Teach classes in IGCSE and /or MYP (dependent on experience);
• Develop and implement lesson plans that align with the IB DP curriculum and promote critical thinking, problem‑solving, and inquiry‑based learning;
• Assess students' progress through formative and summative assessments, providing timely and constructive feedback to encourage academic growth;
• Foster an inclusive and supportive classroom environment that caters to the diverse learning needs of students, using differentiated teaching strategies;
• Encourage a growth mindset and develop students' passion for mathematics, helping them build essential skills for their future academic and professional endeavours;
• Lead the Math department and collaborate with colleagues in the department and across the school to share best practices and resources.

Qualifications and Experience

• A Bachelor's degree in Mathematics or a closely related field. A Master's degree or further qualification is preferred.
• Teaching certification, with preference given to those with an IB DP Mathematics teaching qualification or experience.
• Proven experience teaching IB DP Mathematics (both Higher Level and Standard Level) or equivalent experience in international education.
• Familiarity with the IGCSE and MYP curricula is an advantage.
• Strong understanding of the principles and practices of inquiry‑based learning and assessment in the IB system.
