Vodafone Italy is seeking a skilled 2nd line support engineer for online charging solutions within the Italy Services Operation team. The role focuses on reactive and preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and collaboration with engineering and delivery teams to ensure resiliency, monitoring standards, and uninterrupted service.

Out-of-hours standby may be required. The candidate will work with 1st Line Operations to develop alarm analysis procedures, perform data configuration, and manage

Competenze

• University degree in Electronics, Telecommunications or IT.
• Min. 2 years of telecom experience in a similar role.
• Hands-on experience with Telco Service components.
• Scripting knowledge (Linux, Python, Ansible) desirable.
• Database management knowledge (Arrowspike) desirable.

Mansioni

• In case of incident, perform troubleshooting and repair actions including vendor escalation to restore service and performance.
• Conduct proactive maintenance to prevent incidents and optimize the network.
• Resolve customer complaints within SLA; trace and debug on service platforms.
• Analyze complex traffic and end-to-end service trends; monitor protocols.
• Share knowledge to raise other teams' technical skills during deployments.
• Coordinate planned work and upgrades with zero incidents to avoid regressions.
