Job summary

European Investment Bank (EIB) in Luxembourg seeks an Associate Officer for Regulatory Capital and Capital Policy. The role focuses on maintaining the capital requirements framework, monthly capital ratio calculations, and related reporting within the MDB Capital Adequacy Framework.

It is a full-time temporary grade 4 position with a contract until 15.12.2027. You will work under the CAP Unit, coordinating with the Capital Management Division and GR&C to support data collection, tooling, and

Qualifications

• University degree in a quantitative field with additional qualifications a plus.
• Experience in capital requirements calculation or related banking roles.
• Familiarity with Basel III, EBA guidelines and related frameworks.
• Strong Excel/VBA, data handling and programming capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and monitor capital metrics, and prepare reports and dashboards for management.
• Analyze data for capital-related initiatives and coordinate data quality checks.
• Support internal audits and respond to validation findings.
• Collaborate with the Capital Management Division and GR&C on policy work.
• Provide analytical support for MDB Capital Adequacy Framework initiatives.
