European Investment Bank (EIB) seeks an Associate Sector Specialist - Environment and Infrastructure based in Luxembourg. The role conducts early project screening and independent due diligence across advisory assignments in environmental and infrastructure sectors, reporting to the Head of Housing, Cities and Regions Advisory Division.

Regular office presence in Luxembourg is required. The candidate will work with sector experts across the Division and with Lending (OPS) and Legal as needed,

Qualifications

• University degree (Bachelor level) in Engineering, Economics or related field.
• At least 3 years in environmental and/or infrastructure sectors.
• Strong English and French; knowledge of other EU languages optional.

Responsabilités

• Perform early project screening and due diligence on environmental/infrastructure matters.
• Collaborate with experts across teams to manage workload.
• Evaluate strategic viability and environmental sustainability of projects.
• Provide integrated advisory support and financial insights.
• Assist in monitoring, appraisal, and risk identification for projects.
• Contribute to sector policy papers and representation at events.
