Job summary

March Networks in Lombardia (Monza) is seeking a software engineer to help evolve a video recording platform from on-prem to cloud-native. You will develop C++ applications for Windows and Linux, and contribute to edge-to-cloud integration and a REST-based service layer.

Under a local manager, you will migrate Yocto/Linux embedded systems to cloud environments, design container-based architectures, and support customer issues while shaping key project designs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s in CS or Engineering.
• 3+ years as software engineer in Linux/Windows C++.
• Experience designing scalable embedded/server apps.
• Experience with client/server in C++.
• Cloud platforms knowledge (AWS, GCP, Azure).
• Familiar with Agile SCRUM.
• Fluent English.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and debug C++ apps in Windows and Linux.
• Design and implement services enabling edge-to-cloud integration.
• Contribute to REST-based service layer evolution.
• Support migration from Yocto/Linux to cloud-native envs.
• Define deployment architectures (container/cloud-native).
• Support and resolve customer issues.
• Contribute to high-level design strategy.
