Job summary

Sandvik is seeking a commercially minded operations leader to become Business Unit Director for the OSA Demolition Equipment unit in Molfetta, Italy. You will own the P&L, lead operational excellence, and drive scalable, profitable growth while guiding a transition from founder-led to a digitally enabled, performance-focused organization.

You will oversee production, planning, engineering, quality, and supply chain, and partner with global sales to align demand and delivery.

Qualifications

• Relevant university degree, preferably in engineering, business, or related field.
• Proven track record leading and scaling manufacturing operations with site responsibility.
• Hands-on experience of digital transformation in operations, such as ERP/MRP implementation, KPI frameworks, and data-driven decisions.
• Strong supply chain and inventory management including working-capital optimization.
• Lean and operational excellence methods background.
• Strong business judgment turning data into financial and commercial decisions.
• Effective people leadership across local and international stakeholders.
• Ability to lead in entrepreneurial, evolving environments.
• Strategic mindset with hands-on execution and on-site presence in Molfetta.
• Fluency in Italian and English.
• Experience with international/export dealer-led sales is a plus.

• Foster lean, continuous-improvement culture with disciplined execution.
• Ensure compliance with Group policies, governance, and EHS requirements.
