Job summary

Reply is looking for a Business Analyst to join our Padua office in Veneto, focusing on banking processes and project delivery. You will analyze back-office processes, model with BPMN, and collaborate with IT and business teams to drive improvements.

You will coordinate requirements, testing, and releases while leveraging Jira, Trello and Confluence in an agile environment. A path to project management awaits the right candidate.

Qualifications

• 3+ years as a business or functional analyst, or consultant on IT projects, including project coordination or PMO activities.
• Experience in requirements gathering, process modelling (BPMN), functional specifications, user stories and user acceptance testing.
• Experience in project planning and tracking with agile and traditional methodologies.
• Good SQL skills for data analysis and familiarity with Jira, Trello and Confluence.

WHAT YOU WILL FIND

• Core activities. You will work side by side with banks' business and IT functions to analyse and redesign back-office processes such as legal, customer care, conditions and transparency. You will support project management and PMO: planning activities, monitoring progress, risks and effort, and preparing status reports and steering committee materials. You will identify where Generative AI and multi-agent solutions can support people and make operations more efficient, and help bring these use cases to production. You will be the bridge between clients and delivery teams, coordinating requirements, testing and releases.
• Tech & tools stack. BPMN process modelling, Jira and Trello for planning and project tracking, Confluence for documentation, Excel and reporting dashboards for status reporting, SQL for data analysis. Generative AI platforms and multi-agent solutions for back-office automation. Agile and hybrid delivery methodologies (Scrum/Kanban, waterfall).
• Mentoring, collaboration, and continuous growth. You will join Core Reply, the Reply company focused on innovating the core systems of financial institutions, in our Padua office. You will work in multidisciplinary teams with project managers, consultants, software engineers and AI specialists, with on-the-job coaching, continuous training on banking processes, project management and AI, and a growth path towards project management roles.

The compensation package will be determined based on your professional background, technical skills, expertise, and the level of responsibility associated with the role. The collective labour agreement (CCNL) mainly applied within Reply is the Italian Metalworking Industry Agreement. The job classification will be assessed starting from level B2, and the gross annual salary (RAL) will range from €35,000 to €60,000.

WHAT WE NEED

• Academic background. Bachelor's or Master's degree in Management Engineering, Computer Science or a related field.
• Technical & strategic skills. 3+ years as a business or functional analyst, or consultant, on IT projects, including project coordination or PMO activities. Proven experience in requirements gathering, process modelling (BPMN), functional specifications, user stories and user acceptance testing. Experience in project planning and tracking (work plans, progress and risk monitoring, status reporting) with agile and traditional methodologies. Good SQL skills for data analysis and familiarity with tools such as Jira, Trello and Confluence.
• Soft skills. Consulting mindset and client orientation, structured and analytical thinking, strong organisational and planning skills, clear communication and facilitation in meetings with clients and teams, ownership of results.
• Nice to have. Knowledge of banking back-office processes and related regulations. Hands-on experience with Generative AI tools or AI-based projects. Certifications in project management (e.g. PMP, PRINCE2, CAPM), business analysis (e.g. IIBA) or agile methodologies (e.g. PSM, PSPO).
