Competenze

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or a related field.
• 3+ years of hands-on back-end development with Java and Spring Boot in enterprise environments.
• Solid knowledge of microservices, RESTful API design, SQL databases, CI/CD and automated testing.
• Experience in structured teams with leadership attitude: support colleagues, contribute to code reviews, own technical tasks.

WHO WE ARE

WHAT YOU WILL FIND

• Core activities. . You will design and deliver cloud-native, business-critical solutions for leading banks, from back-office platforms to the modernisation of legacy systems. You will bring Generative AI into the applications you build, integrating LLMs and agent-based components into banking processes, and use AI-assisted development in your daily work. You will work side by side with clients' IT and business stakeholders and take ownership of technical workstreams, contributing to key design choices.
• Tech & tools stack. You will work with Java 17+ and Spring Boot, Kafka, Spring Batch, microservices and RESTful APIs, containers and cloud-native platforms (Docker, Kubernetes/OpenShift), CI/CD and automated testing. LLM integration frameworks (e.g. Spring AI, LangChain4j), RAG and agentic patterns, AI coding assistants.
• Mentoring, collaboration, and continuous growth. You will join Reply in our Company focused on innovating the core systems of financial institutions, in our Padua office. You will work alongside software engineers, architects, functional analysts and AI specialists, sharing best practices through code reviews and supporting less experienced colleagues. Continuous training on cloud and AI technologies and a structured career path will support your growth towards technical leadership and architecture roles.

The compensation package will be determined based on your professional background, technical skills, expertise, and the level of responsibility associated with the role. The collective labour agreement (CCNL) mainly applied within Reply is the Italian Metalworking Industry Agreement. The job classification will be assessed starting from level B2, and the gross annual salary (RAL) will range from €35,000 to €60,000.

WHAT WE NEED

• Academic background.Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or a related field.
• Technical & strategic skills.3+ years of hands-on back-end development with Java and Spring Boot in enterprise environments. Solid knowledge of microservices, RESTful API design, SQL databases, CI/CD and automated testing. Experience working in structured teams, with a leadership attitude: you support colleagues, contribute to code reviews and take ownership of technical tasks.
• Soft skills. Leadership by example and a team-first mindset, clear communication with both technical and business stakeholders, ownership and a pragmatic approach to complex problems.
• Nice to have. Ability to design and discuss software architectures with colleagues and clients. Hands-on experience integrating LLMs or building GenAI solutions. Experience coordinating small development teams. Background in banking or financial services.
