Profile Recruitment Ltd is helping an international technology company recruit a Business Development Manager. You will identify, develop and convert new opportunities in the printing sector, building strong relationships with customers across Italy and France while working remotely from Italy.

You will travel about 50% of the time, attend trade shows, manage the sales process end-to-end, and forecast opportunities.

Are you a commercially driven sales professional who knows the printing industry and loves opening doors, developing new relationships and turning opportunities into business ?

We’re looking for a Business Development Managerto join an international technology business supporting the printing industry.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a technical salespersonwith strong field sales experience and a solid understanding of print and associated technologies, fluent in Italian, French and English.

The Role

Working remotely from Italy, you’ll take responsibility for identifying, developing and converting new business opportunities while also building strong relationships with existing customers.

You’ll be highly visible in the market, spending approximately 50% of your time travelling, meeting customers and prospects and representing the business at key industry events and trade shows. Covering the territory of ItalyandFrance, you will be using Italian and French on daily basis.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Actively developing new business and sales opportunities
• Identifying and engaging with potential customers across the printing industry
• Building and maintaining strong relationships with prospects and existing accounts
• Managing the sales process
• Meeting and exceeding annual sales objectives
• Providing accurate sales forecasts and maintaining up-to‑date CRM information
• Attending industry trade shows, exhibitions and events
• Working closely with product management, engineering, marketing and field sales teams

About You

• Proven field sales / business development experience within the printing industry
• Knowledge of technologies such as flexographic printing, digital printing, inkjet and UV curing
• Exposure to adhesive and/or coating technologies would be highly valuable
• Strong commercial awareness and the ability to identify opportunities in technically complex environments
• Exceptional organisational, presentation and communication skills
• The ability to work independently and effectively from a home office
• Willingness to travel approximately 50% of the time
• Fluent Italian, French and English
