Safilo is seeking an Accounting Specialist for the Italian Legal Entities at our Padova headquarters. You will support a broad range of accounting, financial and administrative activities under the Accounting Manager.

You hold a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting or related field, with at least two years of professional experience in audit, consulting, or multinational settings. Proficiency in Italian and English, and SAP knowledge, are valued.

• At least two years of professional experience in audit firms, consulting firms, or multinational industrial organizations.
• Structured, analytical, and results-oriented approach.
• Able to work in multinational and cross-functional environments.
• Excellent proficiency in Italian and English.
• Solid knowledge of Microsoft 365; SAP is a plus.

Who we are looking for:

We are looking for an Accounting Specialist to join the Accounting team of our Italian Legal Entities at our Headquarters in Padova. In this role, you will work closely with the Finance department, supporting a wide range of accounting, financial, and administrative activities. Key responsibilities will include financial reporting, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations, and providing support during external audit processes. The position reports directly to the Accounting Manager for the Italian Legal Entities.

As Accountant Professional, you will be responsible for:

• Accounting management based on Group Guidelines;
• Supervision of Monthly/Quarterly/Year End Closing;
• Support for Budgeting/Forecasting activities;
• Prepare journal entries (JE) for posting into the general ledger, including payroll entries;
• Reconcile various balance sheet accounts, investigate and resolve variances;
• Support in preparing Profit & Loss and Balance Sheet analytical reports;
• Prepare monthly and annual accruals, providing assistance in the finalization of the annual financials and footnote disclosure;
• Prepare audit support for internal and external auditors.

You are the person we are looking for if:

• You hold a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting, Economics, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
• You have at least two years of professional experience gained within audit firms, consulting companies, or multinational industrial organizations.
• You have a structured, analytical and results oriented approach.
• You are able to work in multinational and cross functional environments.
• You have excellent proficiency in Italian and English.
• You have a solid knowledge of Microsoft 365; knowledge of SAP is a plus.
