Job summary

The Level Group in Milano is seeking an enthusiastic Accounts Receivable Intern to join our Finance team. You’ll manage customer invoicing and collections, supporting accurate financial reporting in a fast-growing e-commerce context.

You’ll work closely with the Accounts Receivable Coordinator to maintain smooth receivables operations, ensure VAT compliance, and contribute to process improvements in a dynamic, international environment.

Qualifications

• Currently studying, or recently graduated in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
• A good understanding of accounting principles; previous experience is not required.
• Confident using Excel, with an interest in developing your skills further.

Responsibilities

• Support the accurate and timely issuance of B2B and marketplace invoices, following internal procedures and applicable fiscal requirements.
• Help monitor incoming payments and follow up on outstanding balances.
• Assist with reconciling customer accounts and recording cash receipts.
• Work with the Customer Happiness team to investigate billing or payment discrepancies.
• Support the preparation of VAT and Sales Tax documentation.
• Assist with month-end reconciliations and journal entries related to receivables.
• Help maintain accurate AR reports and identify opportunities to improve processes.
• Provide documentation for annual audits.
• Support process automation and system optimization projects.
