Exide Technologies is seeking a BESS System Engineer in Lombardy to drive electrical system design and grid‑integration for power conversion projects. You will lead MV-BoP layouts, perform interconnection studies and collaborate with multi‑disciplinary teams.

The role requires a technical degree, 2+ years’ experience, and fluent English. Proactive, organized professionals who travel occasionally will excel in this multinational environment.

Competenze

• Technical diploma or Engineering Degree (Electrical/Electronic preferred).
• At least 2 years of experience in a similar role.
• Excellent command of MS Office Suite.
• Fluent English (spoken and written).
• Interpersonal skills and customer orientation.
• Proactivity, flexibility and organizational skills.
• Problem-solving attitude and analytical skills.
• Availability for occasional business travel.

Mansioni

• Serve as technical lead for power conversion and grid‑integration topics, including converter/inverter selection and grid compliance.
• Develop and validate electrical system architecture, sizing, topology and interconnection performance.
• Lead MV-BoP electrical design: MV stations, transformers, switchgear, protection devices, grounding and auxiliaries.
• Prepare deliverables: single‑line diagrams, protection concepts, cable sizing and equipment specs.
• Ensure electrical safety and compliance across design and implementation phases.
• Support tenders, technical proposals and project execution with cross‑functional teams.
