The Bar & Restaurant Ambassador at Four Seasons Milano is the first guest contact in our restaurants, shaping memorable experiences. This role reports to the Restaurant Manager and sits within the Zelo Restaurant.

You will welcome guests, manage the host stand, learn menus and restaurant information, and work with a team to deliver luxury service. English and Italian fluency and 1–2 years of luxury hotel food & beverage experience are preferred.

Competenze

• 1–2 years’ experience in Food & Beverage, luxury hotel experience preferred.
• Fluency in English and Italian; legal right to work in Italy.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.

About The Role

The Bar & Restaurant Ambassador is the first interaction for guests in our Restaurants, and is the designer of memorable experiences. This role is dedicated to providing exceptional quality and service to our guests. This role is part of the Zelo Restaurant, reporting into the Restaurant Manager.

What You Will Do

• Welcome guests and provide exceptional service during their dining experience in collaboration with a team of servers
• Manage the host stand, review the reservation book and make recommendations as to the setup of the table sections
• Ensure cleanliness of each section of the dining rooms and make necessary improvements as well as check each table prior to opening to ensure its proper set
• Develop a complete working knowledge of the menus, menu ingredients and restaurant information

What You Bring

• One to two years' previous experience in Food & Beverage outlet; previous employment experience within a luxury Hotels is considered an asset
• Ability to operate computer equipment and other food & beverage computer systems
• Strong communication skills

Schedule & Hours

This position is based at the Four Seasons Milan and we will offer a fixed term contract.

You must possess the legal right to work in Italy and have fluency in English and Italian.
