NTT DATA Europe & Latam in Italy seeks a senior Java engineer to own backend services for an AI-enabled, multichannel contact center platform. You will design APIs, integrate with banking systems, and ensure scalability, security, and high availability.

The role requires 4+ years in Java/Spring Boot, Oracle, Unix/Linux, CI/CD, and experience with SIP/VoIP or Genesys. You will collaborate with Product Owners, Architecture, and external partners to deliver reliable deployments.

Competenze

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, or related field.
• 4+ years of experience with Java and Spring Boot.
• Hands-on engineering experience in contact center solutions, ideally Genesys, SIP, VoIP, routing.
• Strong knowledge of backend development, API design, and system integration.
• Strong knowledge of database technologies, particularly Oracle.
• Experience with Unix/Linux, web servers such as Apache and Tomcat, CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
• Solid understanding of networking and security, including TLS and high availability.

Mansioni

• Own technical engineering and platform ownership.
• Develop and enhance an AI-enabled, multichannel contact center platform (Genesys).
• Design and implementing backend services, APIs, and integrations between the CC platform and banking systems.
• Take ownership of the infrastructure’s scalability, high availability, and security.
• Enhance SIP/VoIP, routing, and integration architectures.
• Ensure code quality, CI/CD, automated testing, and stable deployments.
• Provide third-level support for production incidents.
• Manage end-to-end implementations from design and development through testing to go-live.
• Coordinate closely with external service providers and internal stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory and governance requirements.
• Play an active role in architecture boards and technical decision-making processes.
• Drive innovation and the continuous evolution of the platform.
• Stakeholder Collaboration & Teamwork: Working closely with Product Owners, Architecture teams, Operations teams (SRE / Operations), External implementation partners.
• Translate business requirements into effective technical solutions.
