OverIT, a global SaaS leader in Field Service Management, seeks a senior backend engineer to design and develop scalable Java services with Spring Boot. You will own Oracle data models, implement Kafka-based event flows, and enforce secure, API-driven collaboration with internal teams and system integrators.

You will modernize legacy components, publish shared libraries, and build automated tests as part of delivery.

Competenze

• Solid experience in software engineering with complex backend systems end to end.
• Deep expertise in Java and the Spring ecosystem (Spring Boot, Spring Data, Spring Security).
• Hands-on with Apache Kafka and Redis.
• Deep knowledge of relational databases, ideally Oracle.
• Hands-on experience implementing OIDC and building resource servers.
• Proven track record modernizing legacy backend systems quickly and confidently.
• Strong REST API design, versioning, and developer-friendly APIs.
• Experience with AI-assisted development tools and token-aware workflows.
• Professional English proficiency, written and spoken.

Mansioni

• Design and develop backend services and REST APIs using Java, Spring Boot.

• Implement OIDC-based authentication and build resource servers with token validation and scopes.
