Micron Technology is seeking a Validation Engineer focused on automotive storage solutions. You will develop validation strategies for Automotive SSD products and verify firmware, hardware, and system-level requirements.

Collaborate with firmware, hardware, architecture, product engineering, and quality teams to identify risks, improve validation coverage, and accelerate test development with AI-assisted tools and automation.

Competenze

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer/Electronic Engineering, CS, or equivalent.
• Programming experience in Python and/or C.
• Understanding of validation methodologies for software, firmware, or hardware.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good written and verbal English communication.
• Ability to work in a multi-functional and global engineering environment.
• Willingness to travel internationally.
• Experience with AI-assisted development and validation tools.

Mansioni

• Develop validation methodologies, test suites, and automation frameworks for Automotive SSDs.
• Create known-box, grey-box, and system-level validation tests.
• Collaborate with firmware, hardware, architecture, and product teams to translate requirements into coverage.
• Analyze test results, perform root-cause analysis, and drive issue resolution.
• Develop automation tools using Python and other languages.
• Validate SSD behavior under automotive use cases and stress conditions.
• Support qualification and release readiness per automotive quality expectations.
