Micron Technology, Inc. in Arzano, Napoli, Italy is seeking a Firmware Engineer to build high-performance firmware for Data Center SSD controllers and memory systems.

You will support evaluation, development, testing, debugging, and failure analysis of firmware for next-generation memory controllers and SSDs. You will collaborate with hardware, validation, and system engineering teams to triage issues, reproduce failures, and drive performance optimizations across the software stack.

Competenze

• Bachelor's degree in computer engineering, electrical engineering, computer science, or equivalent practical experience.

• Programming experience in Python and familiarity with at least one system-level language (C/C++).

The team focuses on delivering high-performance and reliable firmware for enterprise and cloud environments, working closely with hardware, validation, and system engineering teams.**Position Overview**As a Firmware Engineer at Micron Technology, Inc., you will build high-performance controller firmware for volatile and non-volatile memory systems. You will support the evaluation, development, testing, debugging, and failure analysis of firmware for next-generation memory controllers and Data Center Solid State Drives (SSD). Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target base pay for new hire salaries of the position. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional job-related factors, including knowledge, skills, experience, tenure and relevant education or training.
