Micron Technology, Inc. is seeking a Validation Engineer in our EDG Automotive SSD Validation team to drive validation strategies for Automotive SSD products, covering firmware, hardware, and system-level verification for ADAS, digital cockpits, and telematics.

You will collaborate with firmware, hardware, systems architecture, product engineering and quality teams worldwide to deliver robust storage solutions, and you will apply AI-assisted tooling to accelerate test development, debugging, and

Competenze

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent.
• Proficient in Python and/or C.
• Experience with validation methodologies for software, firmware, or hardware.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; good English communication.
• Willingness to travel internationally and to work across a global team.
• Experience with AI-assisted development, automation, and validation tools.

Mansioni

• Develop and maintain validation methodologies, test suites, and automation frameworks to verify Automotive SSD functionality, performance, reliability, and compliance.
• Build and complete known-box, grey-box, and system-level validation tests across the product lifecycle.
• Collaborate with firmware, hardware, architecture, and product engineering to translate requirements into validation coverage.
• Analyze test results, investigate failures, perform root cause analysis, and drive issue resolution with cross-functional teams.
• Develop automation tools and test infrastructure using Python and other scripting languages to improve validation efficiency.
• Validate SSD behavior under automotive use cases, including stress, power management, endurance, and reliability.
• Apply AI-assisted engineering tools to accelerate test development and debugging.
• Support product qualification and release readiness activities per automotive quality expectations.
