Job summary

STMicroelectronics in Italy is seeking a Junior SW Design Engineer to join the Automotive Ecosystem StellarSDK & Benchmarking team. You will analyze software components and middleware to evaluate performance using a structured benchmarking approach on Stellar products.

The role also covers contributions to the HW Abstraction Level for the Software-Defined Vehicle European program, plus developing and integrating low-level drivers and production-grade SW IPs for automotive MCUs.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Master’s degree in Computer Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Embedded Systems, Automation Engineering, or related field.
• Experience with low-level driver development and middleware is a plus.
• Strong C programming skills.
• Knowledge of ARM-based platforms is a plus.
• Familiarity with RTOS tools, debuggers, and Git.

Responsibilities

• Analyze SW components and middleware with benchmarking for Stellar products.
• Contribute to HW Abstraction Level for Software-Defined Vehicle programs.
• Develop/integrate low-level drivers and middleware for SoCs.
• Work on production-grade SW IPs for automotive MCUs.
