SKF Group in Airasca, Italy seeks a Transport Coordinator Inbound to secure reliable inbound transport and material availability across Italian factories. You will balance cost, quality and compliance while coordinating with forwarders and internal stakeholders.

The role requires strong logistics knowledge, negotiation and organizational skills, plus proficiency in SAP/TM and MS Office. Location is Airasca, reporting to the Transportation & Packaging EMEA manager.

Competenze

• Academic background in logistics or related field, or equivalent training.
• Strong negotiation, organizational and communication skills.
• Advanced knowledge of logistics processes and transport modes.
• Proficiency in SAP/TM and performance measurement tools.
• MS Office, including advanced Excel.

Mansioni

• Interpret transportation requirements from internal requesters, considering location, deadlines, packaging, and urgency.
• Determine the best transportation solution through quotation, negotiation, and validation.
• Implement and justify the chosen solution, obtain approval, and propose alternatives when needed.
• Monitor and coordinate inbound transports with forwarders and factory Supply Chain.
• Prepare and transmit documents to carriers and suppliers, such as bonded warehouse operators.
• Manage transport disputes, including delays, loss or damage, and claims.
• Evaluate carrier performance by analysing cost trends and service quality.
• Advise internal units in Italy/EMEA and monitor invoice accuracy with suppliers and customers.
• Ensure compliance with international transport regulations and customs requirements.
