Job summary

Makino is seeking a System Software Support Engineer to install, configure and support its digital products, including cell controller and machine monitoring software, at customer facilities. Travel up to 70% is required after initial training to coordinate with customers' IT and manufacturing teams.

The role involves testing, debugging, and training on Makino digital products, ensuring successful integration with customer networks and manufacturing workflows.

Qualifications

• In-depth understanding of Makino products and Fanuc controls.
• Experience with NC programming concepts for Fanuc systems.
• Proficiency with Windows 10/11 and Windows Server platforms.

Responsibilities

• Configure, install and support Makino digital products at customer sites.
• Coordinate with customer IT and manufacturing staff during installations.
• Provide on-site and phone-based technical support for existing installations.
