HHLA PLT Italy is seeking an Automation & IT Expert to bridge concept design and real‑world implementation in a complex port environment. You will own parts of end‑to‑end automation from concept through commissioning, coordinating with Operations, Safety, Asset teams and external suppliers.

The role demands a degree in engineering or IT, 5+ years in automation/IT, and strong English with Italian as a plus. You will ensure integration with existing HHLA PLT Italy systems and contribute to a safe,

Competenze

• Degree in Engineering, IT, Automation or equivalent.
• 5+ years of experience in automation and/or IT.
• English strong; Italian a plus.
• Knowledge of safety in automated environments and EU directives is an asset.

Mansioni

• Translate automation concepts into concrete technical solutions for terminal operations.
• Define and implement automation & IT requirements across operational flows.
• Support automation topics across projects and automated areas.
• Interface with suppliers, partners and internal departments to ensure integration with existing HHLA PLT Italy IT and automation systems.
• Identify risks and mitigation measures early and promote safety and governance rules.
