Job summary

QIMA is seeking a skilled auditor to perform QHSE and social audits at supplier sites across Italy, ensuring compliance with SMETA/SA8000 standards and client requirements.

You will document findings in detailed reports, engage with factory management, and contribute ideas to strengthen quality programs, reporting to the client and collaborating with cross‑functional teams.

Qualifications

• Higher education degree in Engineering, Law, Economics, Social Sciences or a related major.
• A Master's degree.
• 3+ years of experience conducting QHSE and social audits.
• SMETA/BSCI/SA8000/WRAP or mixed audits done in recent 12 months is a plus
• Good command of Italian and English (spoken and written)

Responsibilities

• Audit the manufacturing sites of our clients’ suppliers, focusing on labor rights, health and safety, environmental security, and other applicable standards.
• Record all findings in detailed reports delivered to the client.
• Provide expertise in client meetings to craft custom quality control procedures and improve operations projects.

Job Description

• Audit the manufacturing sites of our clients’ suppliers, sometimes without warning. Your areas of attention will include labor rights, health and safety, environmental security, and others, according to the applicable international standard or the client’s in-house procedure
• Be alert to any violations, staying vigilant when dealing with factory management, and recording all your findings in detailed reports, to be delivered to the client
• Approach your job with utmost integrity, as your conduct during an audit can have lasting consequences for the supplier, factory staff, and our clients
