Enterprise Shipping Agency is seeking an Assistant Technical Superintendent to join the Technical Department in Ravenna. The successful candidate will monitor fleet condition, support planned and corrective maintenance, analyze technical issues, and liaise with Masters and Chief Engineers during on-board visits and inspections.

Requirements include seagoing experience at Second or Third Engineer Officer (Chief Engineers may apply with a clear development path).

Competenze

• Seagoing experience as Second or Third Engineer Officer, or Chief Engineer with a suitable development path.
• Fluent in English and Italian for technical and shore-side coordination.
• Willingness to relocate to Ravenna and travel frequently across regions.

Mansioni

• Monitor the technical condition of the fleet.
• Support maintenance planning and execution of corrective actions.
• Analyze technical issues reported by vessels and coordinate with Masters and Chief Engineers.
• Participate in onboard visits, audits and inspections.
• Assist in planning dry dock projects and shipyard repairs.

For our client, a shipping company, we are seeking an Assistant Technical Superintendent.

The successful candidate will join the Technical Department with the aim of developing professionally and progressively taking responsibility for the technical management of one or more vessels within the fleet.

Main responsibilities:

• Monitoring the technical condition of the fleet;
• Supporting the management of planned and corrective maintenance activities;
• Analyzing and handling technical issues reported by vessels;
• Liaising with Masters and Chief Engineers;
• Participating in onboard visits, audits, and inspections;
• Assisting in the planning and management of dry dock projects and shipyard repairs.

Requirements:

• Seagoing experience as a Second Engineer Officer or Third Engineer Officer, preferably on Oil & Chemical Tankers. Applications from Chief Engineers will also be considered, provided they are aligned with the proposed career development path;
• Good command of both English and Italian;
• Willingness to relocate to Ravenna, Italy;
• Availability to travel frequently, mainly within the Mediterranean, Black Sea, Northern Europe, and Baltic regions, for technical visits, inspections, maintenance activities, and dry dock projects.
