Job summary

The Magnum Ice Cream Company is seeking an Assistant Manufacturing Manager to support daily production, drive safe and efficient execution, and lead continuous improvement across the factory. You will work closely with production teams and cross-functional partners to reduce losses, improve productivity, and strengthen manufacturing standards.

Ideal candidates hold a Master’s degree in Engineering, 3–5 years in manufacturing or related roles, and are fluent in Italian and English.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Engineering or related technical field.
• 3–5 years in Manufacturing, Operations, Engineering, Continuous Improvement or Supply Chain.
• Experience in FMCG or high-volume manufacturing environment.
• Strong analytical skills and data-driven decision making.
• Fluency in Italian and English.

Responsibilities

• Monitor production performance, KPIs and deviations; translate gaps into actions.
• Lead structured problem solving and continuous improvement with teams.
• Support implementation of manufacturing standards and basic conditions.
• Coach shopfloor teams and develop manufacturing capabilities.
• Collaborate with Planning, Engineering, Maintenance, Quality, Safety and other functions.
