Glovo, part of the Delivery Hero Group, is seeking a results-driven Area Manager to build and lead the Top Partners program in Padova, Verona and Bologna.

You will own the area business 360º, lead a 5-person team, define growth strategies, monitor KPIs, and cultivate close partner relationships to drive market leadership.

• You have solid experience in fast-paced environments (startup, investment banking, top consulting firms or top tech companies).
• Relevant experience [+2y] leading cross functional teams with 5+ people.
• A data-driven mentality with sound business judgment.
• Persuasive, able to sell value to customers/partners.
• Good judgment, optimistic, ownership mindset.
• Curious with desire to learn and understand new topics.

THE JOURNEY

• Have full responsibility and own 360º the business of Top Partners in the Area.

• Lead a team of 5 talented people to greatness.

• Define and pursue the long-term strategy for the Area in terms of Growth, Promotions, Advertisement and Operations.

• Monitor and analyze all relevant KPIs to track progress towards defined targets and find ways to improve the service.

• Establish and maintain a very close relationship with Top Partners in the city.

• Stay up to date with market and competitive developments.

• Be informed, get involved and make things happen with a doer attitude.

• Contribute actively to the teams’ development and learn from each other in a supportive environment that allows you to grow, develop and make the difference

• Generate best practices and processes which can be replicated across all areas

• Lead by example in accordance to our values and set high standards for the team

Qualifications

WHAT YOU WILL BRING TO THE RIDE

• You have a solid experience in fast-paced environments (startup, investment banking, top consulting firms or top tech companies)

• Relevant experience [+2y] leading cross functional teams with 5+ people

• A data-driven mentality, taking decisions based on data and using good business judgment when necessary

• You're persuasive in the most pleasant possible way and have no trouble selling anything that brings value to customers/partners and the Glovo platform.

• You've got a good judgment and assertiveness and own up to your mistakes facing any situation with an optimistic approach.

• You're extremely curious and have a desire to acquire a deep understanding on new topics.

• You find smart and elegant solutions to complex and multi-disciplinary challenges with a great critical-thinking.

• You're extremely agile and thrive in ambiguous environments

• You are always respectful, kind and fair. All of your current and former reports speak highly of you as a manager and leader

• You have an ambition that makes some people think you're crazy because you are ahead of the edge while inspiring the vast majority.

• You’re an owner, you have a natural bias for action, always pushing for things to happen, objective and deadline oriented with a hands-on spirit.

• Excellent English and Italian. Spanish is a plus.

• An empathetic, inclusive and curious attitude across the business and the industry.
