Job summary

Medline is seeking a Collection Specialist in FLORENCE, Italy or MADRID, Spain to manage accounts receivable and ensure timely postings of receipts. The role focuses on reconciliation, collections, and resolving discrepancies for high-profile accounts.

You will have ~2 years of Credit Collection/AR Clerk experience, strong Excel and Outlook skills, and fluency in Italian with good English. The position is a 6-month temporary contract with hybrid work (2 days in-person weekly) and a gross annual

Qualifications

• 2 years of experience in Credit Collection/AR Clerk.
• Strong computer skills with accounting software, spreadsheets and word processing.
• Excellent proficiency with Outlook and MS Office, especially Excel.
• Fluent Italian and proficient English; Spanish is a plus.
• Good time management and high attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Get in touch with assigned customers to determine payment timing by phone, mail or other means.
• Daily AR control and aging revisions for assigned customers.
• Weekly review of pending invoices and invoicing support for Customer Service.
• Monitor electronic invoices and credit notes; back up AR colleague as needed.
• Create/manage customers and maintain records; extract financial reports for analysis.
• Assist in month-end closing and billing with special invoicing requirements.
• Organize and maintain fiscal documentation (VAT books, Libro Giornale, etc).
