Galileo, a fast-growing renewable energy company based in Milan, is seeking an Accounting Intern for a 6-month full-time period to support AP activities and month-end closing. You will work with the accounting team across Europe, gain hands-on experience in Procure-to-Pay processes, PO matching, and data reconciliation, with a hybrid remote working policy after onboarding.

Ideal candidates are currently studying accounting or have a related degree, with Excel skills and good English, and a

Competenze

• High school diploma or current study in Accounting or related field.
• Previous internship or short experience in finance, accounting, or administration is a plus.
• Good written English communication.
• Strong Excel and MS Office skills.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Attention to detail and willingness to learn.
• Problem-solving attitude; ability to work in a team.

Mansioni

• Support management of purchase requests and creation of purchase orders.
• Assist in matching supplier invoices with purchase orders and required approvals.
• Support Accounts Payable day-to-day activities.
• Help analyse payment due dates and support payment runs.
• Check data consistency between Procure-to-Pay and accounting systems.
• Assist in preparing documents for monthly closing.
• Interact with external accounting providers and internal stakeholders.
• Maintain accurate records and proper filing of accounting documents.
